Gigantes with tomatoes

I received this for this meal from my friend in Greece.

Ingredients (for serving 4 people)
1/2 cup & 2 tbls of olive oil
1 cups of beans
1 chopped onions
1/2 celery sliced
1 bits of garlic sliced
1 tea-spoonfull tomato paste
1 large ripe tomato mashed
1 medium-sized tomato sliced
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tbls cumin
3-4 drops of lemon
1/4 tsp sugar

Gigantes Beans should soak in water for 8 hours (overnight)
Then boiled in plenty of water for 25 minutes
Put in strainer

Sauce preparation:
Saute onion & garlic in saucepan with olive oil until slightly red
Add tomato, parsley, dill, oregano, sugar, cumin, salt, pepper, and boil in water for 10 minutes.

Finishing in the oven
Put beans on large baking pan, and pour the sauce on top of it
Add sliced tomato and some pepper and bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
